I was challenged, so I met the challenge and dove in!
On our Instagram page, Coachella Valley Locals, I was asked if I had been to Cups Café Palm Desert for breakfast. I had not…not until this morning.
Cups Café Palm Desert
Located at 77912 Country Club Drive, Unit 3 & 4 in Palm Desert, Cups Café Palm Desert is nothing like I expected. (the location is in the EOS Fitness Center, just east of Washington on the north side of Country Club)
As soon as I walked in, the staff, who I later learned was the owner, Marcos, greeted me and then another staff member welcomed me. I was free to take a seat anywhere. I noticed they have a nice, shaded patio area with plenty of seating.
The morning was perfect to eat outside so that’s where I headed.
The Menu
Looking over the menu, I quickly realized that not only do they have eggs and bacon, but some specialty items too. They also had some special items that were not on the menu as well.
They had a selection of everything from Frittata’s to Huevos Rancheros, Lox and Bagel, wraps to a nice selection of omelets. I knew my appetite, and yours, can be easily be met.
Oh, and the special that caught my attention, waffles and Fried Chicken!
I know it sounds crazy, but I had this once on a trip to San Diego at a Coronado Brewing Company in Imperial Beach. It was delicious. I did show some restraint…some.:)
Now keep in mind this is a breakfast location that serves from 8 am to 3 pm daily. If you like a little breakfast, or late brunch after a round of golf or church on Sunday, you would not be dissatisfied by checking out Cups Café Palm Desert.
So, what did I decide to eat when I was there?…I’m a sucker when I’m out for breakfast for Chilaquiles. Take a look at the picture, it was every bit as delicious as the picture. (I know your mouth is watering right now, cause mine is too).
Homemade Sauces
Now, one more thing before I wrap this up. And before you get in the car and head over to Cups Café Palm Desert…who loves some special homemade sauces?
They have two; one a little hotter, the other, still with a gentle kick, but both very flavorful. These only added extra taste to my breakfast, which I could not finish!
So please head over to Cups Café Palm Desert and enjoy breakfast inside or, before it gets too hot, on the patio. Then visit us on our Instagram page coachellavalleylocals, and let us know what you had and how much you enjoyed it!
